Yesterday.

Finally managed to play Discovery's Stormchasers online game & beat it with TIV2. Could barely keep it on the roads, much less intercept. I am no gamer. Coughing a lot, which started as a throat tickle, then the lungs got involved. But Linthicum's cheap cocoa dispenser was out of cups. So i probably annoyed a lot of people by coughing so much.

And was far too entertained in doing this. A simple workbook exercise turns into a breakup scene.

Was staying after for show openings, but so much time meant i walked to Ukazoo. Also filled out an application for Record & Tape Traders, since there was a sign that said "Help Wanted." Please, please, please; i need a job...

Ukazoo, two times in a week. Bad person. Did, however, get Phantom for Lauryll for Christmas. Also bought Sex With the Queen (i know, i know) & this book: "Narnia Solo Games: Return of the White Witch." (Distributed by Iron Crown Enterprises. Er... (And supposedly there are LotR ones?)) Walked back to Cook just as it was really getting dark; felt very jittery for some reason & kept jiggling my leg while on the computer. Went to the CFA at seven-ish & finally got some cheap cocoa while waiting for the galleries to open. I personally think the shows are awesome. And there was food, which was nice since i hadn't eaten since about ten in the morning. Didn't eat much, though, & was painfully full. Hm.

Talked to people. Saw Willa from last year's Drawing II class, saw Katherine (? name?) from last year's Art History (she's on DeviantArt, too), & also the girl who sits next to me in Ancient History (Allie, i think?). And there was a wheel for prizes. (I got a "PARTy @ Towson" shirt.) And a cardboard standee of Obama that you could take your picture with, which was priceless. No picture of me with him, though; couldn't find anyone with a camera. Someone put a Towson hat on him; he looked quite spiffy. Later someone draped a "PARTy" shirt on him. Katherine & i talked about discussing Harry Potter with him. It would essentially go thus:

Mr. President, we have something to talk to you about.
You said you'd listen to us no matter what, right?

....What did you think of Deathly Hallows?

Obama: ....(to aide) Cancel all my appointments. We're going out for coffee.

I said we should draw it. And i told De about it via IM, & she said i should draw it, too.

Then ended up talking to Allie, who i think may have been a little red-faced from alcohol, since she used the word "shit" so much. But she wasn't as drunk as the random guy who gave her a cork from one of the wine bottles. "Thank you. I'll treasure it forever. It's right close to my heart. Stop staring at me." She also mentioned she was having an art party or whatever at her house on Saturday, & actually invited me, but i never got contact information, & i basically figured i wouldn't be able to get there, anyway. I did say at some point how i was still living at home, which shocked her & her friend (who drifted off before the cork incident), & mentioned the whole not being able to drive thing. That parents have said i can drive when i can pay for insurance, gas, & i think even the classes. She was sympathetic; not in a "aw" kind of way, though; in a "that's such bullshit" kind of way. And then, speaking of such a thing, father soon materialized out of nowhere, so had to go. Also saw Kate, who had snuck out of class to nick some food.

I think i talk too much & annoy people. They probably all wish i'd shut up. Don't you?

But ugh, i got invited to a party & can't go. If i could have, i can't because i have no way of contacting her. I never get invited to such parties. So am definitely kicking myself. So stupid. Record & Tape Traders, please hire me so i can learn how to drive & be able to go places on my own. (Well, then again, we only have one car. So driving skills are erroneous when someone else is using the sole vehicle of the household.) But i mean... i never, ever get invited to parties. Not that i like such crowded masses of people. But still.

These are all going to expire soon. I don't know if i'll even bother relisting them. This has a bid, but i'm honestly going to be pissed if it ends at my starting price. Grr, hiss. Should have made it $5.

Will probably wake up in the morning with a sore throat. It's already starting to feel raw.

I'll be twenty soon. Ack.
